Air
Velocity Transducers
Alnor
models AVT 55, AVT 65, and AVT 75 Air Velocity Transducers provide
the flexibility needed for air velocity measurements in research
and development labs, manufacturing processes, and other applications.
They are ideal for both temporary and permanent installations. Three
models each incorporate a different sensor configuration and are
available with a standard 12 inch probe or three shorter probe lengths.
The full-scale range, signal output, and time constant are user-selectable
and can be easily changed to meet the needs of your application.
The general purpose AVT 55 has a protected tip, a rugged ceramic
sensor, fast response time, and a wide velocity range. The windowless
probe design of the AVT 65 makes it ideal for use in confined spaces
where a large probe would block the flow. The omni-directional AVT
55 is accurate at very low velocities and ideal for use when the
flow direction is unknown.
All models contain on-board electronics and calibration curves that
provide a linear signal output. This linear signal is sent out as
either a current (mA) or a voltage (V) signal, allowing output to
a variety of dataloggers or data acquisition systems. In addition,
the current and voltage output ranges are user-selectable for your
convenience. |
